COVID-19 case fatality rates: curation, variation, and homogeneity

Specific aims
Aim 1: Curate a unique open access COVID-19 CFR database leveraging HPC data hub, natural language processing (NLP) and CORD-19. Relevant data, e.g. CFR, COVID-19 cases and deaths, age, location, will be curated from publicly accessible data sources. We will first leverage the US county level COVID-19 data hub that HPC is providing.

Aim 2: We will web scrape CDC of major epidemics. For example, South Korea CDC publishes daily testing rate, case and death data.

Aim 3: We will conduct an automated systematic review using NLP6 to identify data from the unique COVID-19 Open Research Dataset Challenge (CORD-19).
