On June 9th, the Hopkins Population Center, in collaboration with the State Innovation Exchange, Population Reference Bureau, and William H. Gates Sr. Institute for Population and Reproductive Health, hosted a timely and well-attended symposium titled “Finding Common Ground: How Research on Abortion Bans Can Inform Public Health Policy.” Against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving reproductive rights landscape in the U.S., the event convened scholars, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to examine the public health consequences of abortion bans and explore how rigorous research can guide effective, equitable policy responses.
