Safe place to shoot up? Some say Baltimore needs supervised sites for drug use. Others say that’s insane.

For some, consumption sites are a natural next step, and they’ve drawn high-powered support locally. Others find it tough to wrap their heads around the idea of allowing people to use illegal drugs. Faculty Associate Susan Sherman, lead author of an Abell Report that detailed how the sites helped reduce overdose deaths, is quoted.
